Never underestimate the power of a new bra....

While rummaging through a drawer this morning for something to wear, I came across a bra with the tag still attached.  And it wasn't one of those waaaay too small ones that I kept simply because I was too lazy to return the stupid thing....or in the hopes that I would awake one morning a normal size "C".  This one was my size.  But then the thought occurred to me that I would never have forgotten about a new bra so there must be something wrong with it.  So I tried it on.  And imagine my excitement when it fit perfectly.  Any girl can tell you that nothing boosts the self-esteem like a new bra.  My friend Brandie (who I will from now on refer to simply as "my wife") and I were just having this discussion the other day.  When a bra is new, it just "works" better.  And nothing makes for a better day than knowing your "girls" look their best.  I am by no means a vain person....but I took my time admiring my profile in the mirror this morning in my new bra....from the front, from the side, with my shirt off, with my shirt on.  I decided that I was indeed having a good boob day and was able to leave the house with my head held just a little higher knowing that my boobs were being held just a little higher.

Trust me, every girl has had more than her share of bad bra experiences.  And there is nothing worse than a bad boob day....we would take a bad hair day any day over this.  Face it ladies, we've all had bad boob days.....those days where you catch a glimpse of yourself in the mirror and think "weren't they sitting just a little higher this morning".  Here are some examples of a bad boob day:  boobs falling out the top, bottom, or sides of the bra, the day you feel a clasp break and know there is nothing you can do about it so you keep wearing it and smiling, when the under-wire breaks and you have to struggle through the rest of your day with a huge wire poking you in the chest, straps that dig into your shoulders, sides, and/or back and make your day miserable, and any day involving a sports bra....the uniboob look is not only unflattering but it is also self-esteem damning.

It's a shame everyday can't be new bra day.  If I ever become a multi-millionaire, I vow that everyday will be.

So for all you ladies out there, I will leave you with the following quote:
"Taking your bra off at the end of a super long day is quite possibly one of the best feelings ever"

Until next time......peace, love & good boobs ;)
